Sanders Memorial Elementary School
Location: Land O’Lakes, Pasco County, Florida
Coastal Design Consultants was selected by the New Construction Department of the District School Board of Pasco County and Williamson-Dacar Associates (Architect) for civil site design, plans preparation, permitting, utility coordination and construction administration services for the re-development of the Sanders Memorial Elementary School Complex located on 11.73± acres in Land O’Lakes, FL. The project included engineering services for the site, parking, drainage and utility improvements for the school site re-development. The project design also included minor widening to School Road to improve standard lane widths, the addition of a left turn lane, and the addition of an 8-foot multi-use path to improve traffic mobility and safety issues related to the school. Other roadway design included the restoration of Lake Sharon Drive to provide standard lane widths to improve traffic mobility and sidewalks to improve pedestrian safety.
