Main Street Realignment
Location: Pinellas County, Florida
Coastal Design Consultants (Coastal) was selected by the City of Dunedin to provided Roadway Design, Plans Preparation, Permitting & Processing, and Post Design Services for streetscape improvements to the existing four (4) lane corridor of Main Street in the City of Dunedin from Milwaukee Avenue north to the intersection of Main Street and Skinner Boulevard (State Road 580). The project design included converting an existing four (4) lane road into two (2) lanes, the addition of angled parking spaces along the proposed mixed use Gateway site, brick sidewalks, brick inlays for the crosswalks, signalization of and modifications to the striping at the intersection of Main Street and Skinner Boulevard.
