Chancey Road Extension (Double Branch Elementary School to Foxwood Blvd.)
Location: Wesley Chapel, Pasco County, Florida
Coastal Design Consultants, Inc. was selected by Pasco County Board of County Commissioners to provided design and permitting services for the 350 foot extension of Chancey Road from the western terminus adjacent to Double Branch Elementary School to Foxwood Boulevard in the Wesley Chapel area of Pasco County. This project included survey, right-of-way delineation, geotechnical investigation, roadway design, drainage, utility coordination, permitting and a complete set of roadway and signing and pavement marking plans. Under a joint agreement between Pasco County and the District School Board of Pasco County, Coastal also conducted a turn lane warrant analysis and designed turn lanes into the Double Branch Elementary School. Regulating agencies included Pasco County and Southwest Florida Water Management District.
